Rainy day and it was a little colder than last week. We went to VanDusen Botanical Garden in mid morning and stayed for a couple of hours there.

Check out the fancy colorful streets with the full spring blossoms everywhere. There were all sorts of trees blossoming – cherry (sakuras), prune, plum and stuff.

Had a meeting in downtown this afternoon. After the meeting I went walking around downtown for a couple of hours or so, along Burrard, Robson and around the five blocks vicinity. I can just spend hours and hours in Van downtown.
It was a nice sunny day. Spring colors are among pink, green and blue. Pink blossoms, green grass and trees, with blue sky. Absolutely gorgeous.
Went to Pacific Centre, got an iced lemonade from Take5 Cafe before heading out. Drove along Canada Place and decided to come back next time to take pictures.
We then drove to Stanley Park.

Went to Mt. Seymour after Deep Cove. The view of snow-covered trees on the mountain was so beautiful I got so excited! These pictures don’t do justice to what the eyes can really see but anyways, check them out.

Found a lucky dollar in the snow!
After Mt. Seymour, went to Commercial Drive. Spring was here and flowers were starting to bloom. I took a few pictures of the cherry blossoms around Commercial Dr before heading to Libra Room for dinner.

They have live music every day at Libra Room. The restaurant was cool with great food BUT no coffee. We had spinach dip, Scorpion Adventurous cocktail and a pint of beer.
