My friend Wesley is in town today from California. The first friend I have visiting me in Vancouver, ah-ha!
We had arranged to meet downtown at around 11. I went rather early in the morning as we decided to drive instead of taking the skytrain. By 10 I was at VPL, continuing the March 2009 issue of Vogue from where I left off the day before.
I met up with Wes right at 11 in front of VPL on West Georgia. I then took him to walk around downtown — Georgia, Burrard, Canada Place, Coal Harbour. We stopped at Coal Harbour around noon to have a quick bite. JAPADOG. Yummy…

At around 2.30 Szezin was done with his work and meeting. We went to have ramen before taking off to drive to Stanley Park and Granville Island.

Went to Stanley Park afterwards. Here are pictures of the Totem Poles.

Look at his eyes, LOL. He could use some sunnies. =p

After Stanley Park, we stopped by the Prospect Point for a little bit, and took these pictures. The view of Lion’s Gate Bridge from the top.

We stopped by briefly at Prospect Point and I took a few shots of the scenery. Here’s one.

Then we went back to downtown, parked the car at Beach Avenue and took a stroll along the beach for 15 or so minutes before heading to Granville Island. I couldn’t help but take pictures of the lovely summer fruits! They look and smell so yummer.

After Granville Island, we went back to have dinner at Milestone’s Grill Bar.

After dinner it was about 9.30 and the sun was beginning to set. These are some views of the sunset from the beach. Yupe, sunset at 9.30 PM!
