We went to see the tulip festival at Maple Ridge after lunch at Harrison Hot Springs. It was a 40-acre tulip farm planted with tulips of all colors, and the mountains as the backdrop. The view was simply breathtaking.
I took lots of pictures; check out all of them from my photo album.
The drive back to Vancouver from Maple Ridge…

Nice sunny weekend. Stopped by Harrison Hot Springs on the way to see the 40-acre tulip farm.
Then we had lunch at one of the cafes around. Fish burger and pork cutlet with coffee.
As I sat in the restaurant, the waitress who had been staring at me for a good 3 minute, said this to me, “I like your hair… I like your shirt… and I like your jeans!!! You’re so stylish! Maybe you live in the city, and there are more places to shop?” LOL… minutes later, when she poured me coffee, she said again, “Even your nails are funny! How come you’re so funky??”. She’s so bubbly, I couldn’t help but smiled widely everytime I looked at her!

Went to Steveston today and had lunch at the seafood restaurant around the Fisherman’s Wharf.
Check out all pictures from my photo album.

Had seafood lunch at Corona Extra and sat at the outdoor (couldn’t resist it for the sun albeit slightly colder wind). We had salmon fish and chips, and a warm seafood salad (mussels, clams, calamari, tiger prawns, scallop with mixed grees and Romanian tomatoes). I couldn’t help falling in love with the fabulous seafood I have in Van, over and over again.

Sunny day, pleasant weather.
Went shopping for a bit in Richmond, and then went to this Buddhist temple Ling Yen Shan Shi (Ling Yen Mountain Resort).

Went to Richmond for a late lunch today. Had Chinese food and chocolate milk with bubbles. The portion of most CHinese food here is good for at least two people.

After lunch, we went shopping around Richmond and then drove to Iona Beach.
